Winter Wedding Ideas
Thinking of having a Winter wedding? Get some inspiration here.
As I sit here it is snowing outside. It has been all day. And as everything outside is turning white what better a time is there to think of Winter weddings than now.
Some people love Winter, particularly when it is snowing and often times these people may get idyllic images of a white wedding popping into their heads at some point or another.
I think one of the key things that makes a winter wedding extra magical is are candles. They give such a lovely glow and warming feeling, perfect for a dark day. If candles are a no go then there are electric options available that look quite realistic, otherwise fairy lights make a great alternative.
When thinking of a Winter wedding there are a few different key styles that would usually be considered and here we’ll go through my favourites.
Hints of Gold
Make your wedding sparkle!
Too much could end up looking garish, but well thought out hints of gold distributed throughout your theme can really make your wedding shine.
There are many handcrafted decorations you could buy from somewhere like Etsy or even make yourself.
And don’t forget about the cake.

Shades of blue, grey and silver go great with white to great a Winter wonderland feel.
Go for a bold blue like navy to make an impact of choose lighter hues for subtle elegance.
Adding hints of silver will help give a frosty shimmer and really make the winter theme come to life.
